Let’s give your daily cooking a nutritional boost and improvise on the familiar to make that green salad, a bowl of color with the addition of yellow and orange peppers and red grape tomatoes, toss with a homemade dressing and sprinkle on some roasted sunflower seeds and toasted almonds.
Cornmeal mush becomes good enough for company when it becomes polenta, served with marinated eggplant, sautéed Portobello mushrooms and your favorite sauce.
Tasty stir-fry vegetables on rice pilaf or meatless chili con elote (corn) on cracked wheat, chilled soups, fresh fruits with dried ones, too….these are a few of the food innovations that we will enjoy together
I provide the instruction and then we taste the beauty of fresh, well-prepared and delicious foods. Our meals are meatless, they are based on the preparation of whole grains and from the multitude of legumes on the grocer’s shelves. Nuts and seeds enhance our dishes and color is created by healthful vegetables and fruits. It’s easy, inexpensive, and it promotes good health because these foods are low in fats, saturated fat, and cholesterol.
